On March 1, 2024, the Magway Region Human Rights Network (MHRN) and its partners, with support from the New Myanmar Foundation, launched a compelling online campaign in honor of Zero Discrimination Day, centered around the theme “To Protect Everyone’s Health, To Protect Everyone’s Rights.” Despite being held virtually, the campaign made a powerful impact, emphasizing the inseparable link between health and human rights. 

The event opened with remarks from a representative, stressing the urgent need to combat all forms of discrimination, whether based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or disability. Participants showed their solidarity by updating their profiles, creating a visual statement of their dedication to equality. The campaign’s success was marked by a shared commitment to building a world where everyone’s rights and dignity are respected. Moving forward, MHRN and its partners remain dedicated to advancing equality and inclusivity, inspired by the momentum and impact of this transformative campaign.
