On this 76th Chin National Day, we extend our heartfelt wishes to the Chin people as they celebrate their rich heritage and history. As we reflect on the past and look forward to the future, may the Chin people continue to thrive, preserving their unique culture and traditions while contributing to the prosperity and diversity of our nation. 

On February 20, 2024, the Magway Region Human Rights Network (MHRN) celebrated a small event to mark 76th Chin National Day in Magway Region with the support of New Myanmar Foundation (NMF) . This annual event serves as a testament to the Chin people’s rich cultural heritage and identity while advocating for their rights and fostering unity within the community.  

The highlight of the day was a solidarity activity , where participants passionately voiced calls for freedom and human rights. By amplifying the Chin people’s aspirations for justice and autonomy, this memorial day contributed significantly to ongoing efforts to advance human rights and democracy in Myanmar, marking a pivotal moment in the collective journey toward equality and justice for the Chin community.
